The Job Role
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant to join our team. An Accounts Assistant is an entry-level to mid-level role in finance, supporting the accounting team with day-to-day financial tasks.

Key Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain new customer and supplier accounts
- Assess and approve new credit applications, regularly reviewing and adjusting credit limits
- Process sales and purchase invoices
- Manage supplier payments and customer receipts
- Manage and process expenses
- Perform bank reconciliations
- Process weekly wages, with full training and support provided
- Maintain financial records and spreadsheets
- Support month-end/year-end reports
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective organisation and time management
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience working in a similar role
- Aware of confidentiality requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software
