The G-Tray™ A1 non-combustible cavity tray sets new safety standards. As the world’s first A1, non-combustible , stainless steel cavity tray, it has achieved the safest classification possible and is the first in the UK to achieve full BBA certification. It satisfies fire safety regulations and considers essential processes, such as thermal bridging and differential movement.

The G-Tray™ was created to replace combustible cavity trays which have been restricted on all new projects using an SFS system that exceeds 18m in height. It was built with guidance from industry-leading construction warranty providers, who now recognise the G-Tray™ as a proven, compliant and robust solution.
DESIGN AND TESTING
G–Tray™ has endured a full test procedure as part of the BBA certification process, ensuring that the product is independently certified as well as fit for purpose.
This included a full test procedure involving water flow tests, accelerated ageing, and shear strength tests within a masonry panel.
All of this resulted in the BBA being able to state that the tray will remain effective for the life of the building in which they are installed.

The G-Tray™ system requires Butyl tape to seal the system and prevent water ingress into the cavity or structure. This jointing method has been independently tested and certified by the BBA, for this specific type of installation.

THIS INSTALLATION GUIDE DEMONSTRATES THE APPROVED PROCESS FOR THE G-TRAY™ CAVITY TRAY SYSTEM
The correct use and installation of an ACS G-Tray™ is critical for the function, durability and long-term performance of the system. G-Tray™ cavity trays must be installed using ACS Stainless Steel Tech screws/ Duopower Concrete Fixings and Butyl tape joints.
ACS Stainless Steel Fixings design, manufacture and supply the G–Tray™, a stainless steel cavity tray made from non-combustible material. This satisfies the latest regulations regarding fire safety and overcomes the problems that alternative products manufactured from combustible material pose.
G–Tray™ is manufactured at our state of the art facility, from stainless steel sheet and provides a barrier to aid the passage of water from the internal structure/cavity of the building to the exterior leaf.
