We’re delighted to announce that this week we’ve been awarded with the prestigious Gold accredited membership in the 5% Club. This huge honour recognises our commitment to the work we do to support and empower our employees.
The award means we have once again gained accredited membership as part of The 5% Club’s esteemed 2024-25 Employer audit scheme in recognition of our continuous commitment to our staff. It celebrates the work we do through our apprenticeships, and achieving the gold award is testament to our belief that investment in our people is the cornerstone of our success.
As ACS’s Sustainability Manager, Alex Beever explains “this is a huge honour for ACS and really acknowledges the ethos of what we do here which is to invest in our people and support them at all levels throughout their careers. The achievement puts us at the forefront of workplace learning innovation, and we look forward to expanding these opportunities even further.”
It’s an exclusive club to be a part of and we’re in good company with 1,100 other forward-thinking employers who devote the same dedication as we do to equip colleagues with the skills and confidence they need to thrive. It’s become a powerful movement of companies working together to make workplace training more inclusive, diverse, and accessible, a collective that we’re proud to be a part of.
Launched in 2013, The 5% Club works with UK employers and key influencers to inspire positive action for increased and accessible workplace learning, focused primarily on the number of apprentices, sponsored students and graduates employed.
The goal of The 5% Club is to increase the employment and career prospects of today’s youth and equip the UK with the skilled workforce it needs to safeguard Britain’s economy. Being recognised as a member means we’re fulfilling our mission of ensuring a minimum of 5% of our ACS colleagues have the opportunity to grow while they work.
As members we will sign a charter, affirming our commitment to helping the UK’s growth agenda and acknowledge the importance of developing people as both a business and social imperative.
