Neoprene is a synthetic rubber which is chemically stable and maintains flexibility over a wide range of temperatures.
ACS uses Neoprene for our isolation pads. The malleable material makes it easy to install and the isolating properties prevent thermal transfer, bimetallic corrosion and acoustic transfer.
