WE’RE TEAMING UP WITH LEEDS RHINOS AND THE ARMY BENEVOLENT FUND TO SUPPORT COMMUNITIES FOR REMEMBRANCE DAY

A HUGE thank you to everyone who has supported the campaign and donated so generously! We have received so many pictures from people who have received their Steel Soldiers, and we will be sharing them over the next couple of days.

For the third year running, we’ll be creating steel Tommy soldiers for communities across the country, to be displayed for Remembrance Sunday services and events. This year, in a bid to raise more awareness and funds for the Armed Forces, we’ve drafted in three new partners; Leeds Rhinos whose players will loan their support to the campaign, as well as the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity who will be this year’s new beneficiary. We’re also happy to have drafted in the support of DX (Group) PLC, with the parcel carrier kindly delivering 250 of the steel soldiers across the country.

GET YOUR STEEL SOLDIER

We’re encouraging people far and wide to get in touch with their requests for a steel soldier, so we can create their silhouette; there are four sizes on offer, ranging from the small 155mm model up to an extra-large 1.5m structure – each expertly cut from mild steel, with the welding carried out by our team of apprentices.

The steel soldiers will be created and delivered free of charge, and a Just Giving page has been established to encourage donations to the armed forces via the ABF The Soldiers’ Charity.
