Thermal Shims
ACS Thermal Shims design reduces heat loss through cold bridging. This helps to improve the energy efficiency of the building.
People predominantly use our Thermo 3 Shims for Masonry Support Systems, but ACS has also developed a smaller shim to use with our 3000 range Frame Cramp. This adds all the energy efficiency benefits to our already market-leading Frame Cramp.
The shims are manufactured from 3mm thick fibre-reinforced composite and not only do these aid the efficiency having a thermal conductivity of less than 0.35W/m.K but act as an isolator to eliminate bi-metallic corrosion.
